One of my favorite features of a bathroom would be when the walls or an accent wall has shiplap on it. When I first moved into my home, I knew I wanted a small farmhouse bathroom look, but I wanted to do it on a budget. As you can see in the photo below, my bathroom walls were pretty plain. I had this beautiful vision in my head of a shiplap accent wall, but I also knew my husband wouldn’t be willing to add real wood to the wall.

For our small bathroom shiplap accent wall, I ended up only using 2 rolls.

I love that it has texture to it, and you and feel the grooves of all the lines and tiny details. It’s not extremely hard to install, however it is definitely something you need patience for in order to keep everything level so the lines don’t accidentally start tilting.

I definitely recommend using a level. It is so subtle and clean, and should peel off nicely.
