My powder room is quite small without much storage. One of my favorite bathroom ideas for my small space was to add farmhouse bathroom shelves above the toilet to add more space for little things. Since we have such a small bathroom, making it look nice, but also having some essentials made things quite difficult. So I decided to turn our very tiny bathroom into something farmhouse chic, and useable. BEFORE: WITHOUT FARMHOUSE BATHROOM SHELVES

This before photo was when we were still in the process of renovating our blank canvas bathroom into a more modern farmhouse bathroom. These shelves we used originally are from Lowe’s for about $30, and held up really well! And another great bathroom idea if you’re going for the farmhouse look is getting FAKE shiplap! This farmhouse shiplap wallpaper is only $34 a roll at Target, and we only needed 2. Saves so much money!

AFTER: SMALL BATHROOM FARMHOUSE SHELVES

It took about 2 years for me to finally be happy with these farmhouse bathroom shelves, but they were finally brought to life. The perfect amount of contrast between blacks and whites, as well as enough browns to balance everything out and made it feel so home-y.
