My son just had his 1st birthday in November, and I wanted to do a birthday party theme that was near and dear to us this first year. I thought of the thing that made him the most happy, and what got me through many tough moments this first year, and immediately Hey Bear (the dancing fruit) came to mind. Instantly, I knew I wanted to do a Hey Bear Birthday Party right away!

Decorations For A Hey Bear Sensory Birthday Party

First, I want to start out with what’s really going to the the theme for a birthday party. THE INVITATION! I found these adorable editable Hey Bear Birthday invitations and got them printed professionally. They turned out adorable!

I always love to make a focal point at a party, so I started off with this big backdrop that would draw attention and really give you the entire vibe and feel of the theme. This is where we put our sons highchair for when he did his smash cake! It was the perfect photo op and piece to set the vibe!

As far as food and cake went we had an array of fruit and veggie trays (perfect for the theme), chips, grape jelly meatballs and Pierogies in the crockpot.

These cupcake toppers came in the kit we ordered above and were perfect! I went super plain with the cupcakes and, the toothpick toppers were simple to assemble and added some great color! A cupcake stand is perfect to display them!

As for his cake, we live near Amish country and had the wonderful, Shady Maple Farm Market in Lancaster, PA create a custom birthday cake fit for a Hey Bear birthday theme. They can do almost anything! I love how this smash cake turned out and it made a great display! The fruit toppers are still the same from this Hey Bear birthday kit.
