Charleston Outfits Roundup: What To Wear
Not sure what to wear in Charleston for Spring and Summer and struggling to pack? These Charleston outfit ideas will give you some fashion inspiration for your trip! My husband and I visited Charleston for 5 days during our baby moon, and I completely fell in love with it! It has become one of my favorite cities due to the beach town feel on one end, small southern city vibes, beautiful aesthetics, window boxes, architecture, and more.
When visiting in July the weather was hot with brutal humidity of 98%. I recommend packing tons of lightweight and airy things if you travel in the summer. I mostly brought tons of dresses, and a lot of my fashion and outfits were from Amazon!
I was so happy with all of my Charleston Outfits that I wanted to share a roundup here of my Charleston Style and what I wore. These outfit ideas are all relatively affordable under $100, and make great outfits to wear in Charleston in the Spring and Summer.

Charleston Outfit #1:
The first Charleston outfit I’m sharing with you was worn for a day exploring the city. I knew we were going to Rainbow row this day, so I wanted to wear something white that I would pop out against the colorful buildings. This skirt is extremely comfortable, high waisted, and go with anything. This crop top sits at the perfect spot to wear with anything high waisted.
Charleston Outfit #2:
An absolutely stunning dress I wore out to dinner at Frannie and the Fox. I specifically picked this ombre cotton candy colored maxi dress because Charleston is full of color, and I felt like this fit the theme of the city so much. It comes in a few other colors and great for a beach vacation.
Charleston Summer Outfit #3:
This Amazon maxi dress is by far one of my favorite amazon finds. It’s flattering, lightweight, and I love that I don’t need a bra with it! For some reason, the pattern on this dress doesn’t match the image listing, but this is what you’ll get. I wore this for a casual dinner nearby as we walked around Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant.
Charleston Spring Outfit #4:
Floral Kimono | White Ruffle Skirt | Green Bodysuit | Pearl Sandals
Anything floral in Charleston is perfect! I just love the romantic girly vibes from this kimono and this ruffle skirt. I wore this on one of our last days while walking around town. It was super comfortable and airy for the heat. Maybe wear better sandals though if you’re doing a ton of walking! lol.
Charleston Beach Outfit #5:

The only beach I visited in Charleston was Sullivan’s Island, and the walk tog there was just absolutely stunning. Before it opens up a bit more like you see in this photo, you’re walking for a few minutes in what feels like a gorgeous forest with salty smells and sounds of squirrels, birds and other wildlife as if you were at the zoo.
You will experience this pretty walk parking at the Sullivan’s Island Elementary School near Station 20 1/2 Street.
Throughout our trip I rewore this floral kimono multiple times for outfits and as a cover up. The white lace swimsuit gave me all the beachy and high end resort vibes, and made me feel gorgeous!
