Be My Bridesmaid Boses: What To Include
Being a bridesmaid entails way more than just standing next to the bride for her wedding day. It's attending/organizing events and showers, supporting the bride through the planning process, planning the bachelorette party, and so much more!
Since it’s just a big job, it’s a sweet idea to propose to your bridesmaid that you want them standing next to you on your big day with an adorable little box or bag full of goodies in hopes they say YES!
So, I asked the big question… “Will you be my bridesmaid?” And in this post I’m sharing how I asked my girls to be my bridesmaids and what I included in their bridesmaid boxes. I DIY’d. It just so happened that these also ended up being Christmas themed around the holidays which I loved.

Bridesmaid Gift Box Proposal Contents
I asked 3 of the closest girls in my life to take on these duties and stand next to me on my big day.
I gave 2 of the girls their bridesmaid boxes as Christmas gifts. I asked my maid of honor when we went wedding venue shopping. Since I only get to see her a few times of year, this was most convenient!
I talk more about which wedding venue we picked in this blog post.
Bridesmaid Gift Boxes Details
First, let me start out by sharing the boxes I used. I found these adorable bridesmaid proposal boxes that say “Will You Be My Bridesmaid/Maid of Honor?“ on Amazon for under $20!
This was the perfect amount for my bridal party! They are 8x8 in size, and have a magnetic lid.
From the dollar tree I picked up a bag or two of shredded filler paper to stuff inside the boxes.
Since the front of the boxes had nothing on outside when I ordered them, I wanted to add a little something to make them custom to each girl.
I found extremely affordable gold decals on Amazon and had their names custom made so that I could stick them on the front of each box.
The decals were very easy to apply, and really added the finish touch to the box.
Bridesmaid Box Gift Idea #1
One of the important factors I had to consider when putting together these boxes was the cost.
I had to buy 3 of everything. Thank goodness, I had a small bridal party because the numbers add up so quickly! Especially when each item is around $5+ each.
I based everything else in their bridesmaid gift box upon these stainless steel tumblers. I went for a pink themed self-care spa night vibe for my boxes.
Bridesmaid Box Gift Idea #2
Another item I included in their boxes were gorgeous pink bath bombs. This is an affordable pack of 4 which can easily be split up to each box! My all pink geode ones are no longer available, but these are even cuter!
Bridesmaid Box Gift Idea #3 & #4
From the liquor store I picked up a tiny 4-pack of mini Sutter Home wine bottles. Pink Moscato flavored to match the pink theme. The 4-pack was under $10. I saved one for myself of course!
The plush socks come in a pack of different options. They are so cozy and the perfect addition!
Bridesmaid Box Gift Idea #5
The last gift I included in the box were some bridal hair ties. My exact set is local from Boscovs, but I found those similar ones on Amazon!
I accidentally gave the girls the wrong set for the bride, but I still think they're cute!
No matter what you include in your bridesmaid gift boxes, your girls will be sure to see the thought and effort you put into asking them! I hope this post gave you some inspiration as to how you can ask your bridesmaids!
