Athleisure Looks To Love

I don't know about you, but I love an easy go-to outfit that I can just throw on and go! As we head into the warmer weather, I wanted to share 3 of my go-to athleisure looks for running errands, and hanging around the house. These looks are super comfortable, but also cute and put together at the same time.

LOOK ONE

Bike shorts and and oversized graphic tees are what you can now find at almost any retailer. I remember wearing bike shorts as a kid, and I'm so glad they are an acceptable fashion piece for adults too. It's basically a legging, but much shorter! I styled my bike shorts with an oversized floral graphic tee, but really any t-shirt will work! Band tees have been extremely trendy as well. I added sandals for a more summer-y look.

LOOK TWO

Joggers were originally intended to be worn for exercise, but like so many other pieces from the athleisure trend, over the years they have now become more relaxed, and can be worn for many occasions such as working out, lounging, on-the-go. I've even seen a few retailers transition joggers into workwear prints/patterns. They're a traditional sportswear pant that is comfy, cute, and have an athletic vibe to them. Joggers lean more towards the athleisure trend due to the more casual, out of house appearance to them, while sweatpants tend to be thicker, oversized, and encourage sweat.

When wearing something a bit baggier like joggers, I like to balance out the look by adding some more slim fitting up top. I added this tie dye ribbed tank top, a scrunchie for to easily get hair out of my face, and even dressed up the look by adding jewelry, and sunglasses. I specifically made sure to use all warm tones for this look. A monochromatic color scheme keeps a look put together, and dressy.

Add a pair of sneakers to to complete the outfit, and you're ready to either workout, run to the grocery store, or take a walk around the block.

LOOK THREE

Workout onesies are back, and better than ever! I am absolutely loving that this 80's trend is back because it makes putting a lounge look together so easy. They save time getting dressed, take up less closet space, and save you the time of wondering whether your workout look matches. They are also so comfortable, and perfect for layering.

This jumpsuit is more of a pajama-like jogger material, which made it so easy for traveling in. I paired it with a denim jacket to dress it up, and added some sneakers for comfort at the airport. When running errands out and about, I think sandals would also be a wonderful choice to bring it all together!

I also added a hat to hide a bad hair day, and add a fun accessory to the outfit!

The term "athleisure" has changed so much over the years, and really, it can be whatever you want it to be. What's your go-to athleisure look?
